January Meeting:

Members of the Pushmataha County Sportsman Club will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, January 9.  Meetings are held at the Wildlife Heritage Center and Museum and begin at 7:30 p.m.

Items on the agenda for this month include the election of officers and board members.  Nominations were made at the December meeting.  The 2020 bass tournament schedule was also approved at last month’s meeting and printed schedules will be available at this month’s meeting.

The date for the Annual Awards Banquet has been set for February 29, 2020.  The banquet consists of a meat entrĂ©e and soft drinks provided by the club with side dishes and desserts provided by the members and their spouses.  Awards will be presented to members that were earned during the previous year.

Members that entered the club’s fall deer season contest and were successful are reminded to bring their deer antlers to the meeting.  Antlers will be measured using the Boone and Crockett scoring system to determine the winners of each season.  This is the only meeting where antlers will be judged. If you are unable to attend, please make arrangements for another member to bring your antlers to the meeting.
