2016 Bass Tournament Schedule: UPDATED

We were not able to secure a permit for our bass tournament scheduled for Sardis Lake on May 7. All ramps had already been reserved.  In order to make sure we were able to get a permit, the dates for the May 7, tournament on Sardis and the May 21, tournament on Hugo had to be switched.  We will now fish Hugo Lake on May 7, and fish Sardis Lake on May 21.  Permits have been secured for these dates.  A copy of the revised tournament schedule is shown below.

December Meeting

Members of the Pushmataha County Sportsman Club will meet on Thursday, December 10.  Meetings are held at the Wildlife Heritage Center and Museum and begin at 7:30 p.m. There will be several items on the agenda and members wishing to have input on those items should attend.  Also, anyone interested in joining the club is welcome to attend.  Membership dues are $15.00 per year.

One of the main items on the agenda will be the planning of the 2016 bass tournament schedule.  The schedule is planned now so permits may be obtained in January for the year’s events.  The club usually hosts 13 regular season bass tournaments with two to three specialty bass tournaments.  Dates for these events will be determined at the meeting. A sample schedule will be posted on the club’s website at www.pushcosportsmanclub.blogspot.com for viewing before the meeting.

Also on the agenda will be the nomination of club officers and board members.  The election for these offices will be held at the January meeting.
Listed below are the available week-ends for bass tournaments in 2016.  This proposal is similar to our last year's schedule.  Main changes are one less tournament on McGee Creek and one more tournament on Pine Creek.  Suggestions and changes will be made at our December meeting.
