Members voted at the February 11 meeting to increase the entry fee for regular season bass tournaments from $15.00 to $20.00. There is still the optional big bass entry fee of $5.00. The additional $5.00 that was added to the entry fee will be held and placed in a fund to be added to the prize money for the Top Ten Tournament held at the end of the season. This will allow the club to pay five places instead of the current two places plus the big bass pot. Currently up to fifteen anglers can qualify for the Top Ten Tournament; the top ten anglers and up to five wild card positions filled by anglers that have not missed more than two regular season tournaments. Details are still be considered on what percentages will be paid for each place but suggestions were made to follow the same percentages used in our Big Bass Rodeo.
Don't forget about our Annual Awards Banquet being held on Saturday, March 5, at 6:00 p.m. in the Antlers High School Cafeteria. The men's door prize will be an ABU Revo baitcast reel.
