The 2026 bass tournament schedule has now been finalized. All permits have been secured for all dates with the exception of the Hugo Lake tournament scheduled for Sept. 12. Members decided to wait and see if there would be sufficient water to unload our boats. For the last several years, the lake level has been to low to unload at our regular boat ramp. As stated in earlier post, the US Army Corps of Engineers now charge $250.00 for each bass tournament permit on a Corps lake. This includes Hugo, Sardis, and Pine Creek Lakes. On these lakes, there will be an additional charge of $10.00 per angler, age 16 or older, in addition to the bass tournament entry fee, to help cover the cost of the entry fee. Also, the Corps is charging $5.00 per boat for a ramp unloading fee. There will be a QR code posted by the ramp to be scanned and used for payment. So, make sure your cell phone has a QR scanner app on it. Those boaters that have purchased yearly passes and seniors with an "America the Beautiful" pass are exempt.
