Members of the Pushmataha
County Sportsman Club will meet on Thursday, February 7, which is a week
earlier than their normal meeting date.
The regular meeting date falls on Valentine’s Day and was moved so
members would not end up in the “dog house” for not taking their spouse out for
a nice dinner on Valentine’s Day.
Meetings are held at the Wildlife Heritage Center and Museum and begin
at 7:30 p.m.
Final plans for this year’s
annual awards banquet will be made during the meeting. The awards banquet will be held on Saturday,
March 2, at the Antlers High School cafeteria.
It will begin at 6:00 p.m. Also,
those members receiving awards will also be finalized at the meeting. Bass tournaments will soon begin with the
first one on March 9, at McGee Creek Lake.
Fishing times for this tournament will be voted on at the meeting.
