After much discussion at the club's April meeting, members voted to postpone the Big Bass Rodeo until June 10-11. Everything else will remain the same. The postponement is due to the extremely high water levels and only 1 boat ramp available, and that is if we don't get more rain. The testing of the new discharge tunnels has been postponed until next week. If no problems arise, they are to open the gates after inspection. Hopefully, this will be the last year we will have to put up with the dam construction (pun intended). I hope to see everyone on June 10 for the Big Bass Rodeo.
Since the club will not be holding the Big Bass Rodeo on
April 22, they have decided to hold a regular bass tournament on McGee Creek
Lake that Saturday. The tournament will
launch from the Potapo boat ramp.
Fishing will begin at “safe light” and will end at 3:30 p.m.
