bass tournament on Saturday, August 24.

only two anglers were able to catch their limit of six bass. Three anglers were able to catch a bass that
weighed five pounds or more.
Judd Thomas was the first place winner. Judd had a stringer weight of 17.07
pounds. Judd also had the big bass of
the tournament with a lunker that weighed 9.49 pounds. Mike Burrage finished in second place with a
stringer weight of 14.13 pounds. Forrest
Cave came in third with a stringer weight of 12.97 pounds.
The club’s next bass tournament, which is also the last
regular season tournament, will be held on September 7, on Hugo Lake. Fishing times will be from “safe light” until
4:00 p.m. Launch site for the tournament
will be the Frazier Creek boat ramp. This
tournament will be followed one week later, on September 14, with the Annual
Top Ten Bass Tournament. In this
tournament, the club’s top ten anglers, along with up to five wild card
positions, will compete against each other to conclude the 2019 bass tournament
schedule.
