Annual Awards Banquet
Members of the Pushmataha County Sportsman Club will hold
their 47th Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, March 3. The banquet will be held in the Antlers High
School Cafeteria and will begin at 6:00 p.m.
At the banquet, awards will be presented to members that were earned
during the 2017 hunting seasons and bass tournaments.
The meal will feature smoked meats provided by the club
and prepared by club member Judd Thomas.
Side dishes and desserts will be provided by members and their
spouses. The club usually has a speaker
for the banquet but decided this year to go without one. There will be door prizes for the men and
ladies, and as always, every child that attends will receive a prize. The ladies door prize will be a $100.00
prepaid Mastercard and the men will be able to buy chances on an ABU Revo SX
baitcast reel valued at $159.99.
Members are looking forward to their first bass
tournament of 2018 which will be held on March 10, at McGee Creek Lake. The fishing hours for the tournament will be decided
at the club’s monthly meeting on Thursday, March 8. Launch site for the tournament will be at
Buster Hights Landing.
